So the list begins! A list of Gifts, little things that you might miss on a day to day basis but would miss if they were gone. Gifts that God has given us, I need to remember the small things and rejoice in the many pleasures of this world. I am hoping that it will help me look past all the troubles of this world and see the good. I cannot how ever take all the credit for this wonderful idea it was Becky’s idea. Without her blog I would undoubtedly lose my way. She is doing a list as well, join us and remind yourself to see the little things in life.

Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Don’t forget to smile!

Four-year-old artist Aelita Andre is making it big in New York City. (Image: aelitaandreart.com)I logged on to the internet today and was wondered to find Aelita Andre.
She is 4 years old and has paitings in her own gallery in New York with an asking price of up to $30,000 per piece. She is so cute!

When I read her story, and watched this video all i could say was, WOW!

It makes me want to go home and paint. I always find that I think to much when I paint. This will be fun to try and act like a kid and just paint what, in your mind, looks awesome!

I belive that everything brought into your life is there for a reason! Well Aelita, I am Listening!

with Katie from
COLOR ME KATIE
When i have run out of ideas or are just having a bad day, i always look to Katie for the anwers. Her blog is so fun and i just cant get enough. I know i have posted about her before, so if you havent checked her blog out yet, what are you waiting for?
I want to do everything, try anything that she has done, just because it looks so fun!!
This is her!!
and some of the wonderful things she has done...
Get going!!!....I am headed right now :)
I found this video yesterday and just had to share it with you. When i first started watching it i thought it would take a lot of guts to go out there, i would feel like an idiot. I am not even sure if i would give someone random a hug.... but as the video prgressed and i was talking to my honey about it and i think i would. Its just a hug and who knows someone could be having a really bad day and giving them a hug could make all the difference!

I love how the video starts in Black and White and then turns colour... I think a hug is a very powerful thing

My sister in law and step sister did that back home, and i didn't even know about it until after i saw the video. It looks like it could be lots of fun!

like i said some people just need a hug
Hope everyone has a wonderful night!!
The Thrive Project
Part 2 - Rule of Thirds

The picture I used in the Project this week
The rule of thirds is my favorite photography tool. I use it all the time, after a while you will learn to just think in the rule and take most of your pictures using it. The rule states that an image should be imagined as divided into nine equal parts by two equally-spaced horizontal lines and two equally-spaced vertical lines. Which in regular words means dont make the focus of the photo in the center, put it off to the side. I can tell you that it works. If you were to take a photo of someone in the center of the frame and then another off to the side, they will look totally different.
Here are some examples of my work, that use the rule....

Hope you liked them!!

Check out Becky's blogg to add your picture to the project!!

Here is the newish addition to the Lost my Smile collection

Today i had another encounter with fate, well i think its fate. I was at work today and a customer, and older gentleman asked me a question and this is how our conversation went...

"Hello miss and you please tell me where stationary is?"
I smiled, pointed to where it is and i said "just right over there"
he looks me right in the eye and says
"Thank you very much,
you have such a beautiful smile"
pause from me, "Well thank you!"
and he walked away

Every where i go this word follows me. There is not getting rid of it, not that i want to or anything. Its just so weird that out of all the things he could have said he commented on my smile... it makes me think

I think someone is trying to tell me something....

I am so excited for the day that I get to be a mom. So this is the list I chose to share with you all. I hope you enjoy!

Today we are doing a craft a little bigger than normal.
The other day my friend told me that she was looking to do something new with her room. I showed her a link to  Color me Katie and she feel in love with what she saw.
So tonight we went to work, cutting out the shapes she wanted all different sizes. We are doing Green and Pink bubbles with Yellow stars above her bed!! So exited to see the result....
Stay tuned for and updated picture!
So am I the only one who struggles to keep up with her inner and outer beauty? I think NOT!How many of you see these woman and think to yourself...... Why can't my face look like that? Or wow she is so lucky she has a figure like that one, I soooo wish my thighs could be as small as hers!

All woman say these things to themselves. We see these kinds of girls in magazines, newpapers, concerts,t.v and even walking down the street. And all we can think is " I wish I could be like her" or "I wish I could look like that". So we try and we try to do exactly that. We go on diets. We starve ourselves. We buy clothes that are over our buget to keep up with the trends. We plaster ourselves in make-up. But at the end of the day we still just feel like ourselves and feel like we have gotten no where. Then we put ourselves down and start all over the next day. All because of what the media tells us how we should be. When do we draw the line.

Look at this picture. Well we all know Jessica Alba is a very beautiful woman and Im sure she feels very blessed to have the beauty that she posseses. But really, how many woman can wake up in the morning and have time to look like this every single day. You can see just by looking closely at how much makeup she has on for this shot. But in our heads we think "Omg she is sooooooo pretty ". We dont stop to think about all the makeup shes wearing, or the lighting this picture was taken with, or the hour it took for SOMEONE ELSE to do her hair and what expensive NewYork jewler they had to run too to get those earrings.

For most of these girls. If they didnt have hollywood people dressing them up and printing the best pictures of them on t.v and in the magazines they would probly look just like us. We need to stop beating ourselves up about how we need to look. Everyone is wonderfully and uniquely made. Love youself for who you are and not what the world wants you to be. When you start loving yourself that is when the world is going to see how beautiful you really are. So go look in the mirror and say " I am beautiful, I am unique, I want to stand out because Im ME!"I hope this changes the thoughts of some of you ladies. I hope you think differently about yourselves or are going to try to turn over a new leaf. So go on.... I DARE YOU! :)
