I finally put my hand out and you know what happened…I was grabbed and embraced. I finally took the plunge that I have needed for some time now, I went to church.
This may sound silly to some people but I have recently, with some help from blogger friends, have decided to accept Christ into my heart. I didn’t grow up with anything remotely close to religion in my life, so when I told my hubby that I wanted to take this step he was set back a little. But he has been very supportive and understanding with the whole thing. However being new at all this I got side tracked and lost focus a few times, and he has always been the one to ask me if I have read my passage that day. What a hero I have.
Needless to say I have been putting of going to church for some time, only for the fact that I don’t want to go by myself. I had not stepped foot in a church since I used to go to youth group when I was still in high school.
So one day I go and pick up my honey from work, he turns to me and this is the convo we had…
Him: “So this Sunday you have a date with Zach’s mom?” {Zach is my honeys best friend}
Me: “Oh really”
Him: “You’re going to church! I was talking to her today and told her that you had been wanting to go to church and had been too scared to go by yourself. So she told me, to tell you that you have a date.”
Isn’t he the sweetest!

So on Sunday I went to church and it was the most amazing service EVER! I almost cried the whole time.
SIDE NOTE: I don’t know much about the bible, I know the basic. Adam & eve…and well that pretty much sums it up. I have watched movies, but let’s just say my knowledge is nil.

So after we were done singing {always been my favourite part} the guest speaker comes up and starts talking. And reading John 9, a man is born blind. I love how he explained it all and I could have cried.
“I was blind and now I see”
“Why this is an amazing thing! You do not know where he comes from, and yet he opened my eyes”
“I came into this world, that those who do not see may see”
And the way he described this part Ohh here comes the tears!
It was amazing and life changing. Since I have been going I have been reading my bible every night and listening to more Christian music just because I love singing. It is the way I communicate with him, some of its even educational :)
So thanks to wonderful friends here and in the blogging community I love so much, I have been able to be embraced with more love then I could have imagined, and I just love it.
I do you have any music that you like to listen to? I only know two right now that I am listening to. Tell me your favorites so I can try them out! I have a playlist on my ipod called Lovin my GOD, and I would love to fill it up. Let me know in the comments I would love to know!!!

Don’t forget to smile!

These are the lovely ladies that have helped me with every step that I have taken. Check out their blogs I know you will love them as much as I do♥

  9. Welcome Tamara to the family of Christ! Glad to have you as a "sweet sister"! My reading of the WORD today was JOHN 8 and 9. Then I read your testimony--AWESOME! This was not by accident. Thank You Lord, for you are so amazing!

  10. I am so happy for your decision to follow Christ and for stepping out and going to church. I'm sure it was intimidating. Bless the woman who went with you. :) It may be only one step but each step of obedience builds and moves you to the next step. Reading your Bible is key! I know it was for me. I didn't grow as a Christian until I started reading mine and now I can't live without it. I love my mornings spent with God reading His Word and praying. I too love Christian music! I like to listen to ksbj in Houston. I found it on someone's blog many years ago and started listening then. Just google it. :) Don't be discouraged by anyone or anything because now that you have shared your testimony and are growing in your faith satan will attack you and discourage you. You areheaded in the right direction and keep praying for your husband. Respect Him and encourage him and before you know it he will be with you in church. Prayers for you today. You are my sister-in-Christ now!! =D

  11. Love and hugs to you, Tamara. I found your blog by way of Becky. (She's amazing isn't she?) What a beautiful story you have to share. God's timing is perfect. Never early, never late. Always on time. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you continue to learn and grow in your new relationship.

  12. welcome! god is good...I love your honest and dear heart!

  13. Hi Tamara! I just read about your life-changing decision to follow Christ over at Becky's blog. I can't begin to tell you how very happy I am for you! I am here to say that you just made the BEST decision ever! May God continue to bless you richly!

  14. Hi, Tamara. (I love your name!) I'm visiting from Farmgirl Paints; I'm blessed beyond measure in living near Becky and being her friend. I wanted to welcome you to the family of God. I like to tell new Christians that accepting Christ doesn't mean things will be easier...just less lonely. God will never leave or forsake you: what a gift! I'm going to follow your blog so I can peek in on your journey from time to time!

  15. praise the Lord for His redeeming blood, dear sister!
i'm rejoicing with you today, that you opened your hearts door to His knocking and tender call.
every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before!
    bless you sweetie.

  16. I am so happy for you! I am visiting from Becky's blog. Congrats on your personal journey with God!

  17. I have tears falling down my cheeks! Love this ! God is so good! I am a follower (stalker) of Becky and Sasha! I love their hearts for Christ and they share so freely! Welcome to the sisterhood of Christ ! You are in great company!
I love listening to: Francesca Battistelli 1 free to be me 2 behind the scenes 3 lead me to the cross. 4 this is the stuff. I love all of her music! Anywho congrats!
    Sistas in Christ ......Christi

  18. Welcome to the family of Christ, Tamara! This post was very inspiring. I'm going to say a prayer for you tonight: that you'll continue to seek and find answers, that you'll find encouragement and support in this new walk of faith, and that you'll grow in the knowledge of God.
Being a Christian doesn't guarantee us an easy life. But it does mean that our Jesus will be right there beside us through it all.
    Blessings to you!

  19. Congrats on starting an eternal relationship with our Lord and Savior!! You're new life just began:)
    xxoo- Elizabeth

  20. Welcome to the family! You are loved beyond your wildest dreams!!

  21. Oh how wonderful!!! Congratulations, Tamara!!

I read about you from Becky of Farmgirl Paints.

The road ahead will not always be "easy," but God knows what is best for you and He will guide your steps. He will work all (ALL!) things together for your good. :)

I love the Christian artist Kari Jobe-- give her whole album a try- I just love her!

  22. hey, tamara! visiting from farmgirl paints...and celebrating with you. this is awesome!!!

  23. I love this! I stopped by from Becky's blog and wanted to send you a virtual hug. You have 2 wonderful ladies in your corner and I know they are thrilled for you.

    Brightest blessings,

  24. How exciting! I read both Becky and Sasha's blog but rarely comment on theirs. I was touched by what Becky had to say about you and had to read for myself. This life of following God is tough, but keep going. You asked for song suggestions so I'll let you know two that have sustained me in a tough time I'm currently going through. They are David Crowder Band's "How He Loves" and Tenth Avenue North's "Times". They might be too intense for the daily rotation but you may still enjoy them? Love, Tabitha

  25. Hello Little Sister! Welcome to the family! Praising and rejoicing through music is my favorite way to communicate with the Lord--in any circumstance. It seems that just as there is a verse for everything, I can also find a song to "fit." I love anything by Michael W. Smith. His songs always touch my heart and they are fun to sing. When I first came to know the Lord, Amy Grant helped me learn a lot through her music. Check both of them out. There are so many great Christian artists to choose from but these two are great if you want to sing along. "Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say REJOICE!" Amen!

  26. Just popping by to give you a huge sister-in-Christ hug, Tamara! What an exciting and joyful day you had! I'm glad that sweet Becky has been your mentor on this journey. She's the best, isn't she? I will keep you in my prayers that God will continue to hold you close to him as you step out on this blessed journey! :) Oh, and my favorite song right now is "Blessings" by Laura Story. ♥ God bless you!

    xoxo laurie

  27. Visiting from FGP and would like to welcome you into the family. What a big decision it is to give your life back to the person that gave it to you. I pray that you will always seek Him in everything and never doubt your decision. He will put people in your life that will encourage you and help you along the way and a lot of them have already posted to let you know they will be here for you, even me:) God bless you. As far as music goes "The anchor holds" by Ray Boltz. Awwww I still cry when I hear that song. Also, Hillsong has good albums and Barlow girl:)

  28. Rejoicing in your decision and knowledge of having another sister in Jesus. So happy for you and all that this will mean for your future and life eternally. Jesus will never leave you or forsake you, and remember the Footprints story, and let Him carry you. Keep Him on the throne of your life and with Him you can conquer anything.
I will pray for you and your new life in Jesus. I came by way of Becky, a former Minnesotan friend that is a dear...

  29. Praise the LORD! SO glad to hear the good news! I saw on Becky's blog. I couldn't be happier to have a new sister in Christ! There are just hardly words right now! :)

  30. Came here from Becky's place. This is so awesome! I love the way you shared your story. Just know that you aren't behind at all by not knowing about religion. (Many of us who grew up learning about it are now trying to un-learn much of it.)It's not about what we know, memorize, recite. It's not about how much time we spend in prayer. It's about embracing the wild grace and love of God and sharing that love with those around us. It's about dying to self so that we can really live.

Like you, I'm really moved by music. I'll keep the list short so as not to overwhelm you. :)

Leeland - The Great Awakening, Love is on the Move
Nichole Nordeman - Wide Eyed, Brave
    Rich Mullins - Songs

I could go on and on!

Praying you see tangible evidence of God's love around you today.

  31. Hello Sistah! Loved reading your story! This is such a special time in your life! I remember when I received Christ at 22- I know how your heart is so full right now! You can see everything with a new perspective! I will be praying for you as you learn more and fall deeper in love with Him! So happy for you!
And I love anything by Third Day!

  32. Coming over via Farmgirl Paints. Welcome from a sister in Christ!!! This road we are on is not easy but it's so rewarding. I will be praying for you!

As for music, I love listening to KLove and they have free downloads. They update their free song about once every two weeks. www.klove.com

  33. Wow that is awesome to read and lifts my spirits today! I don't usually blog much anymore but love Becky and Sasha to pieces. Please copy and paste this clip for the most amazing Love song about God and How He Loves.

    Blessings In Christ,

  34. Baby GILR WELCOME!!! (You know.. to my eternal family.) I was just praying for you the other day!!!! I've been sick all week and just saw this... oh I'm so happy....

Love you so. and you wanna know something else? My entire family (parents too) have all been praying for you these many months. I can't wait to tell them!

  35. In Love with the Lord is a wonderful thing to be! Congrats!

  36. Visiting from LMM. I'm so happy for you and your Glory shines through your post. God bless you on your journey.

  37. so beautiful! welcome, sister friend :)

  38. Hi Tamara, I'm here via Sasha (LMM) and I'm so pleased to hear you've decided to give your life to Jesus and so glad you felt welcomed. Don't worry about not knowing much Bible, it's never too late to start and the Lord will make sure you see the bits he wants you to, as long as you're reading! I am co-leader of a Bible study group for mums and it's been fantastic to see some women who had very little Bible knowledge saying how much they've learned and how amazed they are when different bits they read in different places (alone, in study group, in church) all fit together to reveal something they really needed to know!
    God bless you xx

  39. when i read Sasha's post
i couldn't click over here fast enough

praising Jesus with you and for you
that your heart has been transformed
    and your eyes now see

i pray that you grow in His wisdom and grace
and am thankful that your hubs is so
loving and supportive of this new path
    you're now walking

    blessings to you,

  40. i am in tears. i have never had the privilage of meeting your blog until sasha sent me over, but you are now my sister <3 remember, becoming a CHristian does NOT ensure us that life will be all daisies and sunshine. what it does ensure us, is that ONe who loves us and holds all our tears in a bottle will give us stregnth each day. always feel free to come over and say hi when you feel discouraged. all the blessings, mandy

p.s. check out if there is a K-LOve station in your town. you will find amazing music. my favs are matt maher, thrid day, casting crowns, mercy me.

  41. Hi Tamara,

Visiting over from Sasha's blog. Congratulations, this is the best decision you made and will ever make in your entire life. I can tell you there is NOTHING like having a relationship with Jesus. I love Him more and more every day and I don't want one second of my life to go by without Him. Welcome to the family!!

    Blessings dear sister,

  42. How wonderful!!! I'm hopping over her from LMM's blog. Welcome to the "family"! **hugs**

  43. The angels are rejoicing as are we your Christian sisters! Words can't even explain how happy I am for you~

There is so much great Christian music out there... I'd say my favorite group is Third Day- They rock out more then most bands but the words to their songs really hit home.

Congratulations on making the best decision of your life!

  44. Popping over from Sasha's place! I'm so excited for you! God is so good and promises you will find Him when you seek Him! You are a new creation in Christ and so, so loved!

My music suggestions - Steven Curtis Chapman is my all-time favorite!, Chris Tomlin, Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp, David Crowder Band, Josh Wilson, Andrew Peterson, Casting Crowns, Matthew West...so many more! Listen to Air1, KLove or your local Christian station if you have one and you'll find all sorts of great artists!

  45. OH Tamara, it's such a gift to all of us, your Christian sisters, to hear of your holding out your hand and heart to Jesus! So many of us hear the heart of God in music, so pick a Christian radio station, and start learning to know what you like... there is so much out there! It really helped me to listen, to podcasts and the music. Music is the satin ribbon around a new heart committed and reaching out to the Lord! God Bless.

  46. The angels had a party in heaven the moment you asked Him in. I found you by way of Sasha. I am so excited for you, this brought tears to my eyes for you and your family. ANother great radio station you can listen to on the internet is www.ksbj.org. One of the greatest women's bible study leaders is Beth Moore www.lproof.org. Churches around the world do her studies, they are awesome, I'm sure a church near you has one. Praying for you as you learn and grow. it's great to have sisters in Christ. Blessings,

  47. Hi Tamara! I'm visiting you from Lemonade Makin' Mama! I am so excited for you!! Even though I don't know you personally, I know we are now sisters in Christ which is pretty awesome.

My favorite Christian singers are Sara Groves and Bethany Dillon- I hope their music blesses you as it has blessed me :)

  48. Tamara, Thank you for sharing your sweet, honest, and super excited testimony! You have encouraged me this morning and I am blessed by your words. So excited to know of your everlasting decision and I know they are rejoicing in Heaven! Will keep you and your man in my prayers! Krista

  49. I'm so happy that you've found the Lord. I'm totally a music person. I sing in my church praise band. During some low points in my life, when I first started my real "grown up" life, it was music like Christy Nockels (Watermark) that helped me keep my feet grounded. These days I rock out to Jesus Culture, Third Day, and David Crowder Band. I'm a mom with 2 kids now, but I've been thinking about buying a guitar and learning how to play so I can lead worship right in our house!

Would love to hear how things are going.

  50. Congratulations!!!! And welcome to the family!!!! Crying as I read your post, I am so happy for you! Keep digging, keep reading, and most of all keep praying. The Bible holds a wealth of treasures for your heart.
For music, I'd recommend anything by Francseca Batistelli or Mandisa. Both have awesome, praise-worthy sing-a-long at the top of your lungs songs.
    Lots of love to you,

  51. What amazes me most is the Love of those who want to share the love of Christ. What a welcoming you have recieved! So Many people that love and care about you and are rejoycing your path you have chosen. God is good! And He loves us all! You have inspired me today to try a little harder in remembering GOD all day long...and keep him in my heart ALWAYS! I wish you luck on your Journey. My Prayers will be with you. My sister and I were listening to a few songs just this week that I fell in love with, Enjoy!:

  52. These are the moments that make me thankful for a wonderful blog community. God loves us all and is mercy and grace are amazing!

  53. Welcome to the family!! Growing sometimes isn't so easy, but stay in your Bible, pray, and share your faith will keep you close to God, and there's no better place. Love ya in Christ

    Marty Ann

  54. Welcome to the family sister in Christ! May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ bless you beyond your wildest dreams and may you always follow his path for your life..its always the better road! Praying for your journey with HIM! Yay!!

  55. So this post is beyond amazing! You're truly inspiring whether you feel that or not! God is using YOU every day!! AMazing.

As far as Christian music, what genre do you prefer? Worship, gospel, punk, rock, contemporary Christian, ? I have it all. Worship is done via music for me, too mostly. I prefer bands like Jeremy Camp, Hawk Nelson, Jamie Grace, Tenth Avenue North, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band, Passion, Stellar Kart, Ayiesha Woods, Addison Road, Sanctus Real, tobymac, Group1Crew, O.C. Supertones, etc.

  56. Beautiful testimony, Tamera! I was also raised in a non-religious home and turned Christian as an adult.

If you don't already have a study bible, I highly recommend getting one. When I attended my first bible study group I had a regular "old school" bible and one of the readings was from 1 Corinthians and the question was why did Paul ask (I don't remember the exact question)... I couldn't figure out why they were asking about Paul, the reading didn't even mention him! LOL!

My favorite song is "Amazing Love" :)

    Have a blessed day!!

  57. Oh Tamara you're bringing tears to my eyes just thinking about you tearing up at church!! My church for a long time has been full of families that have been going there for generations but has recently been doing everything we can to seek out to the community more. Just thinking that someone like you who's hearing it for the first time could be sitting next to me in church makes everything different, you know? It's just a beautiful thing!! Oh dear I'm crying again :) It doesn't help that I copied and pasted the song from the comment above me, I know it well but it still touches my heart!!

My husband and I are going to be praying for you as you start your journey and relationship with God. If you ever have ANY prayer requests please feel free to let me know at allthatbringsjoy at gmail dot com. :)

    God bless you!!!

  58. Congratulations and Welcome to the Family <3 <3 <3 It is such a gift to have found a good church right away!! I don't know what music others have suggested so if I repeat, I apologize. Some of my favorites: Casting Crowns, Third Day, TobyMac, Tenth Avenue North, Aaron Shuste, Jason Gray, B. Reith, Group 1 Crew, Newsboys, Peter Furhler (I may have spelled his last name wrong) Skillet (hard rock), David Crowder Band, Hawk Nelson, Relient K, Switchfoot, Jon Foreman, Paul Baloche, Brandon Heath....just to name a few :) lol Music is how I communicate best with God as well, so I got a little carried away!! Enjoy the journey of discovering God and the beautiful music that praises and glorifies him!!! xoxoxo

  59. God Bless you!!! I'm so happy for you! I don't know you but Congratulations and Blessings!

  60. What a wonderful decision! I am so happy for you. Please know that God is not concerned with how much you know about the Bible, that comes with time. He cares about your heart and your desire to have a relationship with Him. Welcome to the family, sister :)

  61. Popping over from Lemonademakinmama. Sasha shared a little about you and I came over to your blog to Welcome you to the family and encourage you in your spiritual walk. You are proof that God is faitful and true in all he says to us.
Continue to stay on fire for the Lord by reading your bible daily and getting plugged into a bible study or small group at your church.
I really enjoy listening to Mercy Me. Their lyrics and music will really speak to you and lift you up.
    Will be praying for you.
    Your sister in Christ,

  62. There is nothing that brings joy to my heart more than someone accepting Christ as their Savior!! My favorite songs right now are Glorious Day by Casting Crowns and Turn Around by Matt Maher.

  63. The angels in heaven sang, the moment you handed your heart to Christ.

I'm sitting at my desk, in tears. Joyful tears.

    Welcome, my new sister.

  64. I'm so excited to have a new sister in Christ!!!! God is so good. I'm praying that you feel great encouragement and grow strong in your faith.

  65. Was visiting LMM, and had to come over and read your post. Peace to you. I recently found a group called New World Son and love a song of theirs called Sweet Holy Spirit.

  66. Hi Tamara - I'm popping over from Sasha's blog to say welcome to the family! I will pray for you - that your faith will take root deeply and that you will grow in the Lord! I'll pray for your hubby too - that he will see you grow and long to have the same relationship with God that you now have! Keep reading the Bible - it's the unchanging Word of God - a precious love-letter to those who have placed their trust in His Son Jesus Christ. God promises that His Holy Spirit will make His Word clear to you - isn't that amazing? I'm sure you'll have lots of questions too though, so don't be afraid to ask! I'd love to say more but I don't want to overwhelm you - just know that you are warmly welcomed!

  67. Congrats on joining the family of disciples. Be blessed. Read the Bible and open you heart to all God has for you. You are His daughter and He loves, adores and wants the best life for you -- in this life and in heaven.

  68. So thrilled to read Sasha's post and pop over to say hi!! Welcome to the family :)
    Some music I love.... http://www.gettymusic.com/
    Enjoy! Philipians 1:9-11 xx

PS your husband sounds a sweetheart!

  69. Praise God that He chose you for His own!
Here is one of my favorite songs by Francesca Battistelli:

Don’t know how it is You looked at me
And saw the person that I could be
    Awakening my heart
    Breaking through the dark
    Suddenly Your grace

    Like sunlight burning at midnight
    Making my life something so
    Beautiful, beautiful
    Mercy reaching to save me
    All that I need
    You are so
    Beautiful, beautiful

    Now there’s a joy inside I can’t contain
But even perfect days can end in rain
    And though it’s pouring down
I see You through the clouds
    Shining on my face

    I have come undone
    But I have just begun
    Changing by Your grace

Appears on Album: My Paper Heart

    God bless you!

  70. Tamara so happy for you! You are an inspiration to those of us who take for granted our relationship with God and bring back the memories of how blessed we are through fresh eyes. God Bless you! lin

  71. Tamara, found you through Sasha's blog, Welcome to the family and I can call you sister..... No i don't know you but you are now my sister in Christ too!!! I listen to K-Love, or the The Message (christian stations) all the time when traveling.... I love Love Lora Story's songs, Matthew West and oh so many others! Happy for you and your life changing decision!!! May God Richly Bless you and your family!

  72. Hi Tamara - dropping over from Sasha's blog and want to say Welcome to the family of Christ. It's so incredible... the internet makes the world smaller so we can build relationships we once could not. But the sacrificial, healing work of Christ means that we can now build relationships that are ETERNAL.

I'd say anything by Casting Crowns, they speak to the truth, but I gotta add that "My Father's House" by Audio Adrenaline is one of my very, very favorites.

    God bless, sister! ~Tam Hanley

  74. Hi Tamara, I'm here from Sasha's blog. I am so excited over the commitment that you made to follow Christ. I agree with everyone else, that it is an amazing thing to follow Him. The angels in heaven are rejoicing over your decision to make Jesus the Lord of your life. My prayer for you is that you will enjoy the wonderful Journey of getting to know your Savior and falling in love with His Word more and more each day!!

  75. Tamara, this is definitely the answer to a lot of prayers. I am thrilled for you.

    (Mr. LMM)

  76. Just wanted to say welcome.... always excited to hear of someone making a decision for christ! I will be praying for you and your "hero" in the days to come-- may he see your life in Christ and decide to follow also!

  77. Welcome to the family! Having a church family is good but just remember that there is a lot of confusion in churches today. God created ONE church, Christ's body and once you are saved, you become part of that church. There are many denominations out there that want to try to sway you to their way of thinking. If you have questions, go to the Word of God. He is the true way. It will take a while since this is all new to you but just take it one day at a time and remember that he is a God of grace, love and forgiveness. He will carry you through. Life's a journey but so much better with the Creator to guide you through. As for music, I really enjoy listening to the Booth Brothers. In fact, they have a fun song called, "Welcome to the Family". Check it out and others on Youtube. God bless and looking forward to meeting you in heaven some day!

  78. Hi! Popping over from LMM's blog for a little visit. :) I'm so incredibly happy for you about the decision you've made. I'll be keeping you in prayer, and adding your blog to my blog roll so I can keep updated. :) God bless!

  79. Hi Tamara!
I'm here from Sasha's blog....I'm so excited for you!!! He loves you and has loved you from the beginning. I will be honored to pray for you as you begin to see how your story weaves into God's story.

    Praise God!!!!

  80. Hi Tamara! I'm visiting from Lemonade Makin' Mama, just popping in to say "Welcome to the family!" :) I'm thrilled to hear you've decided to give your heart to Christ! It's a wild ride, but loving Him makes it all worthwhile! As for music, I LOVE the worship albums put out by Bethel Church from Redding, CA. My favorites are The Loft (which is more acoustic, simple worship), Be Lifted High and Here is Love (all available on iTunes or through Amazon). Those are all fantastic albums, FULL of songs that give glory to God and are so uplifting and encouraging. I hope that helps!

  81. I'm so excited for you Tamara! There is nothing like having Jesus as your very best friend. He will never leave or forsake you and He is never more than a whisper away. I'll be praying for you along with Sasha and Becky! (I follow their blogs too)
Some of my favorite christian artists are Francesca Battestelli, Jeremy Camp, Newsboys, Chris Tomlin. I pretty much like all of their songs so there is no choosing just one! :)

  82. I was visiting LMM and came and read your post. I am so happy for and so happy you have others supporting you. THat really makes a difference and makes life a little easier. Some artists that I love listening to are Builind 429, Jereemy Camp, Mercy Me, and Heather Williams. Heather Williams has this song God is Still God that is one of my favorites right now. Love you and God Bless!

  83. Tamara I was thinking about you this morning while I was listening to one of my favorite radio stations. I'm not sure if anyone has told you about K Love yet. It's a Christian radio station that you can listen to online or through an app. They might even have a radio station in your area. Go to www.klove.com and check it out! They have started a challenge to listen to only Christian music for a year to see how it changes your life. It's never to late to start :) The music is so encouraging.

  84. Tamara, I couldn't sleep so I was browsing pinterest and several clicks later I was sent to your blog. I was weeping tears of joy for you and I don't even know you. Welcome to the family!!! What a leap of faith you took. Your faith is inspiring and a reminder of how God has a plan for all of us. I can't live without music. It drives my relationship with God. I mostly listen to Pandora Radio. I have found so many amazing new artist this way. It's early Sunday morning so am currently listening to New Life Worship. Also love Hillsong United, Jeremy Camp, Rita Springer, Jars of Clay, Casting Crowns, Mercy Me... and the list goes on. Enjoy!

  85. Oh, how precious.... A new sister!!! Love you!

  86. WOOHOO! Heaven's having a party!!

as far as music goes...I like Lecrae and Rachael Lampa and Crystal Lewis. I like older Mary Mary and Kirk Franklin stuff. I'm more likely to like something if it sounds like mainstream pop music, not the contemporary Christian stuff. But you can go online to one of the online music sites like Pandora and enter in a Christian artist and then look to see who they recommend is like that artist.

I love comments! Thank you for taking the time to let me know what you think!
