I want to thank everyone for their lovely comments, they were amazing!  I was crying practically the whole time. The love that went in to the comments and the love that reached out and hugged me is so over whelming, ohh here come the tears again. What a big family I have now. I am sure I will be taking up some of you on your offers for help and guidance. I am also going to have fun looking for all the music you sent me!! My iPod will be full in no time  I am so happy to know that there are others that use music like me.
One of my favorite comments about music: I'd recommend anything by Francesca Battistelli or Mandisa. Both have awesome, praise-worthy sing-a-long at the top of your lungs songs. –Jen
I can totally relate to this one, because I have Francesca’s album on my iPod and I so do that.
On another high note, I am feeling my life change right before my eyes. It’s wonderful when you finally step back and realize that God has a plan for you. You start looking at each day different and get excited about what you will read/learn next. Work has been awesome, my stress level has gone way down, and I am just loving life.
Also I am officially signed up for bible study! My first one is this Monday night! I am so exited everything is coming together.
I got a new hair cut tonight, I needed a change to go with all the other changes in my life and I cut it very short!! But it turned out so good I am in love with it.

I took this picture in the fall and i thought it would be perfect for todays post! I wanted to add this picture just because I feel like a new born in my faith and I am growing and thriving with the help of the people around me. So Thank you again everyone!

Don’t forget to smile!

I've been a christian all my life and then half way through my husband's dpeloyment God began to work in my life again and woke me up! It's amazing when the holy spirit touches you isn't it?! It felt like I was rediscovering the Lord, and the word all over again and I really was! So happy for you girl! So glad that you have the good news! Looking forward to reading your posts and if you ever need or want to talk my name is Marie and I would be glad to be here for you :)

  2. Ooh! Do you know what the subject of your Bible study will be? A particular topic or book in the Bible? I'm excited for you!

  3. Hi Tamara,

I'm so excited for you and what a great thing to join a Bible study, the more you learn and lean on God's word, the more it will transform you life. Would love to see pics of your new haircut, I bet it looks super cute. I wanted to recommend a couple of great Christian websites for women if you don't already know them. They are full of godly advice, Bible studies you can join online with other ladies and fun things like recipes, fashion and many other things. I hope the links came over ok if you can't find them, let me know and I'll help. I'm so so happy for you. Please know that although you don't know me personally, you have a sister in the Lord and friend in me. Have a blessed weekend.

  4. Now you're making me cry! :) I've been a believer since I was tiny, and don't know really what it feels like to discover Christ, and find out that I could be a part of this huge, loving family of God. I think you communicate that beautifully, and I love your picture! Blessings! <3

  7. I just wanted to recommend joining a Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Bible study. This is my 3rd year doing it (my mom did it for 11 years) and it is just an awesome way to learn what the Bible really says. They have an intro meeting the first week of every month. You can check to see where they meet near you at bsfinternational.org. The neat thing is that every BSF in the northern hemisphere does the same thing the same week so if you had other friends doing it, you could still talk about what you are learning and God is showing you. You start by reading the passages and answering the questions during the week by yourself. Then you go to BSF and meet in a group and go through all the questions. Then you listen to "lecture" about those same passages. Then you go home and read the "notes" on those passages that you already read yourself, answered questions on, and listened to the lecture on. It's a great way to really learn it. We're doing Acts & the apostles this year. I'm learning so much! And I love how they always use other Bible verses in the Bible to back up the meaning of the passages that we are studying. HTHs!
