Hello Everyone!

I am back and I am so sorry for being gone so very long. I have been dealing with a lot in my life and fighting against many demons and I am sure my fight is not over yet. I have been going through personal changes and spiritual changes, all for the best!
I have been listening to K Love! Thank you to everyone who recommended this station to me♥ I have been creating most of my art when listening to this station. It’s like I get and angel of art come down to me and just moves that brush or pencil and I go crazy!
I couple weeks ago I was put on the spot by someone very close to me and it stopped me in my tracks and made me think. I was talking to ‘her’ –no names- and I was talking about going to church and this crazy journey that I am on right now trying to figure out who I am and who I am living for. And her comment was “well you’re only doing this so you have something to talk about on your blog”

….silence…

I am not sure what I should say to that, I just kind of laughed it off and made a joke. But it really hit me, ‘is that what is really going through your head?’ I was just at a loss for words.

So the past few weeks I have been trying to find the ‘real’ me.

Who am I?

I am I this person that just talks the talk and doesn’t do anything about it.

Search for the answer and it will find you…. Yes

The answer was yes.

It takes more than one day to change and be changed, but you know what, God is working in me and he never leads you on the path most traveled. He is going to lead you through the swamp and thorns and push you, but do you know what happens to you in the end? You become stronger. He pushes you until you fall on your knees and realize how strong he is. The path is sometimes hard but if you stick it out you will be stronger for it.
I have been going to bible studying, learning and hanging out with other christians, and it has been amazing! I have it marked on my calendar and I try to never miss one, the people are great and Pastor B. is wonderful. I have been Volunteering with the church and getting invloved in the community. I have been doing great at work, and I just feel amazing!
I have been drawing again, and painting again. I have been just being so creative and it has been amazing! I have so many pictures and fun things planned for this wonderful blog of mine.

Because it is mine!

I can write about anything that I want, or talk about anything I want. Because it is MINE! And I want to share it with the world.

It’s like my faith, it is mine but I want to share HIS love with everyone. I am not doing this to be praised, I am not doing this for my own personal gain, I am doing this to praise GOD. Following the path that he has laid out for me, I am here to praise him.

I don’t care if no one reads my blog; I don’t care if no one takes anything from it. But out of the 10 that don’t care, there is just 1 that needed to hear what I had to say.

If you never try you will never succeed.

If you do not feel the sadness you will take the joy for granted.

I have found myself through Christ my savor and I will not stand back and do nothing. In bible study tonight we talked about Acts 8. Some people just need it explained to them, they don’t need to be preached at or judged, they just need someone to listen to them and teach them.
The devil is always trying to move in and discourage you, but you have to be strong and willing to take the ‘hit’ for what you believe in.

Don’t forget to smile!

I was going through my photos and organizing some of them…and I knew that I just had to share some of them with you…

However, I was reading one of my favorite blogs tonight {LMM} and I found this post I totally fell in love with it.

It’s about all the things that make ME, or anyone else who blogs, a blogger. So I thought that I would share my photos with you as I write out my list. The photos probably won’t make sense with what lam saying, but hope you enjoy them all the same.

You know you’re a blogger when…

You always ask yourself “will this make a good blog post?” before you do anything.

You know you’re a blogger when…

You talk about your “internet friends” to your boyfriend more than your real friends.

You know you’re a blogger when…

As soon as you get home you log on to blogger and check if you have comments.

You know you’re a blogger when…

You feel bad about missing a day.

You know you’re a blogger when…

You have photo folders filled with random photos that, you may or may not have, taken just because you thought one of your followers would like it.

You know you’re a blogger when…

You feel the need to take Photos of everything you eat.

You know you’re a blogger when…

You would never dream of stopping.

Don’t forget to smile!

I finally put my hand out and you know what happened…I was grabbed and embraced. I finally took the plunge that I have needed for some time now, I went to church.
This may sound silly to some people but I have recently, with some help from blogger friends, have decided to accept Christ into my heart. I didn’t grow up with anything remotely close to religion in my life, so when I told my hubby that I wanted to take this step he was set back a little. But he has been very supportive and understanding with the whole thing. However being new at all this I got side tracked and lost focus a few times, and he has always been the one to ask me if I have read my passage that day. What a hero I have.
Needless to say I have been putting of going to church for some time, only for the fact that I don’t want to go by myself. I had not stepped foot in a church since I used to go to youth group when I was still in high school.
So one day I go and pick up my honey from work, he turns to me and this is the convo we had…
Him: “So this Sunday you have a date with Zach’s mom?” {Zach is my honeys best friend}
Me: “Oh really”
Him: “You’re going to church! I was talking to her today and told her that you had been wanting to go to church and had been too scared to go by yourself. So she told me, to tell you that you have a date.”
Isn’t he the sweetest!

So on Sunday I went to church and it was the most amazing service EVER! I almost cried the whole time.
SIDE NOTE: I don’t know much about the bible, I know the basic. Adam & eve…and well that pretty much sums it up. I have watched movies, but let’s just say my knowledge is nil.

So after we were done singing {always been my favourite part} the guest speaker comes up and starts talking. And reading John 9, a man is born blind. I love how he explained it all and I could have cried.
“I was blind and now I see”
“Why this is an amazing thing! You do not know where he comes from, and yet he opened my eyes”
“I came into this world, that those who do not see may see”
And the way he described this part Ohh here comes the tears!
It was amazing and life changing. Since I have been going I have been reading my bible every night and listening to more Christian music just because I love singing. It is the way I communicate with him, some of its even educational :)
So thanks to wonderful friends here and in the blogging community I love so much, I have been able to be embraced with more love then I could have imagined, and I just love it.
I do you have any music that you like to listen to? I only know two right now that I am listening to. Tell me your favorites so I can try them out! I have a playlist on my ipod called Lovin my GOD, and I would love to fill it up. Let me know in the comments I would love to know!!!

Today will be my 100th blog post. I am so excited to have finally made it to a mile stone in blogging. Yey me!
I thought about what I would post for this post but nothing seemed right. So I decided on this a special day for my blog I would treat it (and you of course) to something nice. I have decided to make Mondays: Movie Monday.

I love movies, I love watching them crying to them, laughing with them, well you get the picture. I am the proud owner of over 355 movies. (I have a list!) You could say I am a collector (that would be the nice word for it) but to tell you the truth I am addicted to movies!  I love all kinds of movies; of course I love romance, drama and true stories. However I also like horror movies, comedy, fiction and fantasy.
I can be very critical of movies, and this is where this post will come in. I watch movies almost every night, I am the one that if I have seen it and you haven’t, you better tape my mouth shut. I love watching good movies over and over and some I could watch every day without ever stopping.

When I was younger, I remember watching Dirty Dancing with my sister for a week straight. My mom rented it and had to take it back just for us to take it out again. We watched it over and over and the only time we had a break when it was rewinding so we could watch it again. Yes I know that makes me sound old, VHS was so awesome. I remember my first movie I ever got, Beauty and the Beast; I think my mother still has it. And my all time favourite movie is Mary Poppins, which I own the collectors addition of.
Anyway, where I am going with this is, I am 100% movie nerd and I am not afraid to admit it. And I am going to start sharing another one of my passions with you, right here on my blog. So I hope you will enjoy it, and maybe you can watch some great movies along with me!

Hope everyone is having a good night! And thank you for sharing this special day with me J

Sorry I have been a bad blogger lately but life is got me all in a spin. There seems to be way too much to do and not enough time to do it. Lots of things have happened and I am so excited to share..

I decided to get my hair cut, I needed a change. Do you ever feel like you have done all the hair styles you can with that cut and are now board of them? Well I do, as soon as my hair was long enough I started putting it in a pony tail and getting lazy. So I chopped it off again and changed the colour. My honey loves it when I have red hair, and our anniversary (more to come later) was coming up so I decided to treat both of us ;) It looks pretty darn good if I do say so my elf. I died it myself while honey was at work heheh When he got home he was very excited and so was I.

There has been a lot going on this week that has got me sort of stressed out so I started taking a little time for myself and having a cup of tea. It’s nice to have those few moments of alone time to just relax. I love the name of the tea it totally suits me this week!

I have been working by myself at the studio all week. There is a huge Power lifting event on all week from Tuesday to Sunday, and our studio was asked to take pictures! Isn’t that awesome, people from 29 different countries came to our little town and put on this amazing show. I didn’t get to go; someone had to run the studio while everyone was gone. What an amazing feeling of responsibility, that someone has faith in you to run the studio by yourself for a whole week, it was amazing. I got tones of work done and even more cleaning. I normally never have time to clean and I feel bad but this week I made time and I think the studio looks awesome. However, I have been lacking in my house cleaning this week. How wants to clean all day at work then come home and clean again...not this girl. Laundry has been piling up and so have the dishes, so today is the day! I need to get cracking on my house now because God knows that it needs some TLC.

Don’t forget to smile!

Today has been a day full of surprises for me! First I got to sleep in, then I checked my blog and had a beautiful comment that brought me to tears, and then I got inspired to finish a painting that I have been working on for over two months.

Surprises are good, I love them.

Recently I have come to the conclusion that I am ready to let the lord in to my heart and I have been struggling at where to start. There are so many questions I have and so many things I want to learn. I was reading the book of Romans the other day online (because I don’t own a bible yet) and I was having trouble understanding it. So I opened it up again today with the audio and read along. And for some reason it all made sense, I think that I was not really ready to read it the other day and that I was meant to read it today. Because I got to Romans 5 and got the eager to paint, so I closed everything on my computer and pulled out my paint. While I was painting the wording on I realized that what I wanted to write would not fit, so I got angry and pushed everything to the side and opened my computer. I read this post from a blog I am new to and have completely fallen in love with, Lemonade Makin Mama. And it was like she was talking to me, starring at me and giving me this advice herself. I have been focusing on all the things that are wrong in my life right now and not focusing on the little things that mean the most. I have been shaking my cup and only bad things have been coming out. As I sit here in my craft room and look around at all the beautiful things I have and how lucky I am to have this space all to myself. It makes me feel selfish for even thinking bad things about my life. I have a loving boy friend that gives me everything I need and more, a loving family that I don’t call as much as I should and still loves me. I finished my painting and it couldn’t have turned out better! I am very pleased with the way it turned out, so thank you for your advice.

I have been living with my eyes closed. I have recently read about this book called One Thousand Gifts and I can’t wait to read it! I have put it on my wish list on the Chapter’s website and I am hoping to be able to get it soon. I believe that when He thinks I am ready to read it I will receive it. But until then I am continuing my list, with Becky, and look forward to reading it one day.

So the list begins! A list of Gifts, little things that you might miss on a day to day basis but would miss if they were gone. Gifts that God has given us, I need to remember the small things and rejoice in the many pleasures of this world. I am hoping that it will help me look past all the troubles of this world and see the good. I cannot how ever take all the credit for this wonderful idea it was Becky’s idea. Without her blog I would undoubtedly lose my way. She is doing a list as well, join us and remind yourself to see the little things in life.

Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Don’t forget to smile!

Have you ever had one of those days? If you have, you know what I am talking about. The days were you wake up on the wrong side of the bed and everything just seems bad. When everything coming from peoples mouths seem to tick you off and you just want to cry? Where you just want to run home and go back to bed because the world just seems too much for you. You just want to lock yourself in your room and cry in the corner and you have no idea why..?

That was yesterday for me. A ball of emotion, rage and lack of sleep. I came home from work and just didn’t know what to do with myself. I was a useless pile on the couch, sitting there doing nothing but complain, “I don’t know why…” Do you ever think that the weather affects the way you feel? Well I do and I think that Mother Nature was in the same mood as me. We had a thunderstorm watch out last night, and the clouds matched my mood perfectly.
My honey was a good sport though, he cooked me supper after he finally got out of me what I wanted. This is how our conversation went. “What are we having for supper” “I don’t know, nothing” “Nothing?” “I don’t want to do anything” As I throw my hands down on the couch like a child having a tantrum. “Well what do you want me to make” “I don’t know” This went on for a while he listed of almost everything we own. He attacked me with kisses and hugs until I had a smile on my face and told him what I wanted. Chicken sounded good and he even cooked them on the BBQ and made rice. It was so good; I wish he cooked more often.

The rest of the night was a big ball of “I don’t know” or “I don’t want to.” I have a lot of love for my honey for putting up with me when I am like that, and I can’t help it. It’s just one of those days where I can’t do anything and I just feel like crap. I guess I didn’t sleep it off either because when I got up this morning I could just feel it. You know when you know it’s going to be one of those days. So did what I thought was right and stayed home. I was going to take Thursday off but decided to take today off instead; I didn’t want anyone to see me like this. So I am home and I am cleaning!! Because that’s what I do when I get mad, I have noticed lately, which is good because my house needed some TLC.
But then the sun comes out and your mood changes a little, and then one comment from your best friend changes your whole day. It’s nice to know people love me even when I am a nut case. “Tamara you’re like the light bulb above my head, if I didn’t talk to you I don’t think the bulb would ever go off” You get a smile and a little tear on your face and you can just feel that feeling of errggg just flow down your finger tips and turn into a blog post. Even the smallest thought or action helps when you’re having one of those days. So to anyone who is having one of those days today, know that you’re not the only one and it will go away. Text one of your good friends or just get a hug from your honey, every little thing helps. Write it down, blog it or journal it, getting it off your chest is the best way to get to smiling again.

Don’t forget to smile!
I am so glad to finally be back! I have not had internet in a few months and a lot has changed! We moved into a new place and I am loving it. Its way bigger then our old house and is 100% ours. The bills are all on us and everything else too. I am telling you, it’s so nice. I feel like such a grown up now hahah.
I have been really busy the past few months but I haven’t forgot about my blog. I have lots of great posts so keep an eye out.
In the mean time here are some pictures. I was out on my deck this evening just relaxing enjoying the sunset and I took some pictures of things I can see from my deck.

Have a good night!!
Have you ever been so excited about something that you get over whelmed by it? That is me when it comes to blogging. So many ideas run through my mind at once, it’s hard to write them all done.

I read blogs and I see and think, Oh my blog should look like this it should look like this. Did that happen to you when you first started blogging?
Then you try so hard to be like them you lose you, so you take a break and hope you come back to it. But every time you think about it, which is every moment of the day, you think it’s been to long I can’t start now.

I have always run in to this problem with my journals, you write and write then you stop for a while and when you pick it up again you feel that need to apologize that it has been so long since you have written. I know I do that…EVERY TIME! You think that you are going to make that first blog post and you’re going to log on the next day and have too many comments to even read. I know I did. Well why not all the blogs you read have hundreds of comments. And the more you post and see no comments you get discourages because you think your just talking to a brick wall.

Then you take another break and if you can get the nerve to get back blogging it is really hard to start from scratch again believe me.
I think that everyone gets like that; it’s a never ending vicious circle.
So this is where my circle ends here and now. I am going to blog my little heart out and I don’t care if anyone hears or is listening I am doing this blog for me.
To day is the day, this is the year!

And on I go with my challenge to try and blog everyday! Are you ready for this new blog and blogger!!
Happy 2011 Everyone
